The head of the Red Crescent branch, Ali Mansour, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that with the aim of providing support and assistance to the affected people in Ghweran neighborhood, and within the framework of implementing the shelter bags project and in conjunction with the onset of winter, SARC volunteers completed the installation of 90 shelter bags, each of which includes wooden doors and windows. For the families of the affected and those returning to their homes, with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

The people of the Ghweran neighborhood were displaced on the twentieth of January of last year to the temporary shelters and safe areas as a result of the bombing of the US occupation air force and the (Qasd) militia of the infrastructure, headquarters, university buildings and people’s homes south of the city of Hasakah, under the pretext of pursuing fugitives from the Industrial Secondary Prison in the Ghweran neighborhood.
