The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior announced that some roads in the governorates of Hama, Lattakia and As-Suwayda are passable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow.
The administration stated in its bulletin today that the roads of Jurin - Slenfeh and Shataha - Jubeh Burghal in Hama countryside are passable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow.
In Lattakia governorate, the administration indicated that the Juba Bergal-Al-Ghab road is passable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow, and the roads of Jableh- Beit Yashout- Al-Ghab and the Ain Al-Sharqiya district of Petrias- Qarn Hilya and the Hammam Al-Qarahla district- Bastoir Kharayeb Salem are not passable due to snowfall.
In As-Suwayda, the administration clarified that the road of As-Suwayda - Al-Mushnaf - Dhahr al-Jabal, and the roads leading to the district of Al-Mushnaf are not passable due to the accumulation of snow, while the roads of Sahwa Al-Khader - Miamas and Shahba - Mardak and Al-Kafr - Salkhad are passable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to use fog lights, check brakes, reduce speed at turns, slopes and road junctions, and drive carefully to avoid accidents, noting that it had allocated phone numbers 5422703 - 5411365 to inquire about road conditions.
