Lu mentioned that the country’s human organ donation work has attracted international attention in recent years. Although there is currently no mechanism for Hong Kong to share the body’s organ donation with overseas medical institutions, including the Mainland, Hong Kong’s laws have always allowed individual cross-border organ approvals based on individual needs. Importation and transplantation, emphasizing that the acquisition and distribution of human donated organs, as well as cross-border transportation, in China and Hong Kong are strictly regulated by international standards.
