The government continued that when it receives proposals for mitigation measures or revised plans for the development project, as well as requirements for resumption of work, the Buildings Department will strictly review and approve the project based on the principle of ensuring the structural safety of railway facilities, including consulting the MTR Corporation and other relevant government departments.
The EMSD will also confirm that the MTR Corporation has strict monitoring measures to continue to ensure the safety of railway operations.
