At around 9:00 p.m. today (3rd), the police received a report that a 40-year-old woman was sitting by the window of a high-rise back staircase in a building at Nos. 513-521 Shun Ning Road, Cheung Sha Wan, with most of her body sticking out of the window.
Due to the limitation of the scene environment, the firefighters failed to deploy the rescue air cushion on the ground, and the ambulance was on guard.
Police officers, negotiators and firefighters attended the scene to persuade.
At around midnight on Saturday (4th), the female victim finally gave up her thoughts and returned to a safe place. She was sent by ambulance to Caritas Hospital for examination.
