A Chinese spy balloon was recorded this morning (Friday) over the territory of the United States when citizens managed to photograph the aircraft as it passed at a high altitude over the territory of the state of Montana.
The Pentagon confirmed in the morning that it was indeed a spy balloon belonging to the Chinese government and the New York Times published that President Biden made a decision not to intercept the balloon due to fear that the fragments from the balloon would cause damage to the ground.

In Canada, the authorities also reported that they had located another Chinese spy balloon, although no documentation of the aircraft was published.
The balloons apparently arrived in the Americas from the northwest, from the direction of the Aleutian Islands.
Military experts explained to the "New York Times" that the intelligence value of this type of spy balloon is little and that it does not pose a significant threat to the United States militarily.
