【18:00】患糖尿及腎病等長期病患的六旬婦人,在家等候隔離時猝死,死後被染出感染新冠肺炎,其死因研訊今(31日)續,衞生署的護士作供,她稱曾與婦人的女兒聯絡,她有記錄婦人有多種長期病患,但當時未有新冠病徵,她是否獲優先隔離,須由醫生決定。衛生署一名行政主任稱,當時接連有葵盛西邨及麗晶花園等大型撤離行動,大批文件累積,導致部門2日後才處理該婦人的案件,再過2天才與她聯絡時已不果,後來才從新聞得知婦人已死。

【16:21】水果店職員涉在明知感染新冠病毒後,仍乘坐公共交通工具,兼到吉野家等餐廳堂食,他否認12項使其他人蒙受感染的危險罪。案件今(31日)在西九龍法院續審,被告出庭自辯時稱,案發期間,政府並不認可快測結果,他又沒有收到政府發出的隔離令,故認為他有外出的自由。至於他在Facebook上載快測結果、食物照片並留言,之後又把之刪除,他並向警方表示,因不滿政府防疫政策令他失業,才會發布該些資料,後來有網友提醒他或會犯法才刪除。被告今在庭上解釋,他當時理解是罵特首會犯法,才決定刪文。裁判官把案押後至3月8日裁決。

疫情調查|金冬雁:沒委員會也必要檢討 孔繁毅:非針對人或機構

【14:58】疫情持續三年後邁向復常,行政長官李家超今早(31日)表明不同意對疫情作獨立調查。政府專家顧問、港大醫學院內科學系傳染病科主任及臨床教授孔繁毅今接受訪問時兩度表明,專家倡設的獨立調查委員會「唔會針對任何一個人或者機構,主要真係檢討成件事。」孔又指相關檢視除可以幫助香港提升應對疫情能力,也有助提升整體醫療系統。

港大生物醫學學院教授金冬雁亦表示,獨立調查是香港一直行之有效的做法,相關調查及檢討對將來有好處,他估計,港府表明不同意獨立調查或因有些複雜情況,牽涉到方方面面,獨立調查也未必能查清,不過他強調回顧及檢討疫情期間種種情況及措施屬必須:「即使佢(政府)今次唔做(獨立調查委員會),都要用另一個方式去做。」

隔離令取消|醫管局適時加普通科確診名額 無預約者或酌情安排

人大常委譚耀宗前日(29日)表示,相信取消香港與內地的通關核酸檢測要求很快會有決定,並引述政務司司長陳國基說,估計未來數天會有決定。

【07:02】新冠病毒疫情肆虐三年,隨着復常,僅餘的口罩料數月內也會撤銷。疫情初期如雨後春筍設立的口罩廠,又何去何從?根據香港口罩及防疫設備總會統計,本地口罩廠由2020年高峰期的約200間,減至目前約20間,相比前年再減30間。

「Savewo救世」為其中一仍然生存至今的口罩品牌廠,其創辦人透露去年已踏足機械人產業,做好被淘汰準備,估計口罩令撤銷後,或裁員及減產最少一半口罩。「最後因為口罩令又好,任何原因都好,令到我哋公司scale down(降低規模),甚至最極端情況倒閉,其實我哋都覺得OK。」
