The jury is made up of the president of the Superior Court of Justice, who will preside over it;
two license plate attorneys to be designated by lottery in each case;
and two deputies appointed by the Chamber.
Lucio Dupuy's mother and her partner were found guilty this Wednesday for the heinous murder of the 5-year-old boy, in November 2021, for which they will receive a life sentence.
The Court of Hearings of La Pampa declared the mother of the child, Magdalena Espósito Valenti, the material author of the "
homicide triply qualified
by cruelty, by treachery and by the bond", but she was acquitted for sexual abuse.
Meanwhile, the judges understood that his partner Abigail Páez was the material author of the "homicide qualified by cruelty and treachery and by seriously outrageous sexual abuse" of Lucio.
