A goalkeeper who comes from playing for Red, a midfielder who played in Maradona's Argentina, several former River and other pearls from a tournament that adds hierarchy.

The

Primera Nacional

, whose season will begin this Friday, has experienced weeks of intense movements that the 37 clubs that will participate in the tournament have carried out to renew their rosters.

In this transfer market, which will last until next Thursday, several footballers with extensive experience in the First Division and also abroad chose to have their first experience in this competition, to return to a category they already knew or simply to change their shirt.

Milton Álvarez

knows very well what promotion is: he cut short at Deportivo Morón, Colegiales, Sportivo Italiano and Huracán de Tres Arroyos before arriving at Independiente in mid-2018. For four years he had to be a substitute for the Uruguayans Martín Campaña and Sebastián Sosa.

In the last months of last year, with the help of Julio César Falcioni, he earned ownership (he saved in 17 of the last 19 games for Red).

However, the arrival of Leandro Stillitano and the hiring of Rodrigo Rey relegated him again.

At the age of 33, he decided to terminate his contract and join Quilmes, one of the heavyweights in the category.

Luciano Abecasis

made his professional debut in the second division, although he did so with River's jersey in 2011. After the rise of the team led by Matías Almeyda, the man from Rosario did not have many chances in the top flight, so he looked for new airs in Quilmes .

He then went through Godoy Cruz and Lanús, and gained experience in Italian Pescara, Libertad from Paraguay and San José Earthquakes from the United States.

After an irregular last year at Banfield, he will return to Mendoza, but to play for Independiente Rivadavia.

For

Hernán Pellerano

, the First National is not a novelty.

The central defender trained in Vélez, who wore the shirts of Independiente and Newell's, played more than a hundred games in Spanish Almería and also played in Mexico, Paraguay, Ecuador and Peru, was one of the pillars of the defense of San Martín from Tucumán the last two seasons.

In November he moved 300 kilometers north to seek promotion with the renewed Gimnasia de Jujuy directed by Darío Franco.

Like Pellerano,

José Luis Fernández

played the last two years in the First National, which he arrived after having played in Racing, Rosario Central and Godoy Cruz, among others;

having had a brief spell with the Portuguese Benfica and even having played a game in the

national team

against Haiti in 2010, during the management of Diego Maradona.

The captain of Nueva Chicago left the Mataderos club to try his luck at Alvarado de Mar del Plata

.

Rubens Sambueza

had been out of the country for more than 13 years since he finished his second cycle at River in mid-2009. Although he had a short stint with Flamengo, he spent most of his career in Mexico, where he played in America (he won four titles ), Toluca, Pachuca, Pumas, Estudiantes Tecos, León and Atlético San Luis.

At the age of 39 and with the aim that his children can develop as soccer players in the country, the man from Neuquén returned and will play for Deportivo Maipú de Mendoza.

The name of

Cristian Erbes

is associated with Boca: he was trained in the lower ranks, played more than 150 games in the First Division, won four titles and even wore the captain's ribbon.

After his departure to Mexico in 2016, his career stalled, partly due to some injuries.

Last season he played for Deportes La Serena in Chile.

In Ferro, one of the teams that invested heavily in this transfer market, he will look for his relaunch in the country.

Nicolás Domingo

played not in one, but in two big teams

: he did it in River, where he made his debut in the First Division in 2005, and Independiente.

He also had two cycles at Banfield (in the first, he was champion of the B Nacional in the 2013/14 season) and experiences at Peñarol in Montevideo, Olimpia in Paraguay and Deportivo Cuenca in Ecuador.

At 37 years old, he is one of the Board's bets to fight for a quick return to the professional League and also for his participation in the Copa Libertadores.

Wearing the Newell's jersey,

Mauro Formica

was one of the great appearances of vernacular football at the end of the first decade of this century.

He competed in the Premier League (with Blackburn Rovers) when that was not such an accessible destination for Argentines.

And he even had the pleasure of debuting in the National Team in a friendly with Poland in 2011.

After a year with very little activity in Colón, he will be a teammate of his brother Lautaro in Defensores de Belgrano.

After completing his second cycle at Platense, Gonzalo Bergessio will play at Tristán Suárez.

Another man with a national team background,

Gonzalo Bergessio

, became the most brilliant novelty in this First National transfer market when

he signed a contract with Tristán Suárez a little over two weeks ago

.

The 38-year-old from Cordoba, who last passed through Platense, arrives with the endorsement of the 231 goals he scored in more than two decades of a career that included passes through San Lorenzo, Racing, Sampdoria, Catania and Saint-Etienne, among other clubs. .

His first goal made him the B Nacional: it was on October 30, 2001 in a 1-1 tie between Platense and Tigre in Victoria.

Jonathan Herrera

worked the promotion fields for a decade before reaching the Primera División: first representing Centro Español and then Deportivo Riestra, with whom he traveled a dizzying ladder from Primera D to B Nacional.

In the last three and a half years, he has passed through Independiente, San Lorenzo, Central Córdoba and Patronato.

The only footballer who scored goals in the five categories governed by the Argentine Football Association returns to the second division to play for Ferro.

Claudio Riaño

always flew under the radar.

However, his resume includes experiences in Boca, Independiente, Rosario Central, Unión, Central Córdoba, San Martín de San Juan and the Mexican Necaxa.

This week it became Aldosivi's great attack card on his return to the First National.

It will be his first experience in this category, although in his early years as a professional he played the Argentino A with Racing and Talleres de Córdoba.

In addition to these 11 men, the main promotion tournament in the country will have other footballers with experience in Europe such as

Alberto Tino Costa

(Deportivo Morón),

Fernando Belluschi

(Estudiantes de Río Cuarto) or

Cristian Llama

(Atlético de Rafaela);

or champions of the Copa Libertadores like the stainless

Claudio Bieler

(Atlético de Rafaela).

And, as a bonus, he will bid farewell to another great scorer,

Mariano Pavone

, who at 40 will play his last nine minutes as a professional on February 12, when Quilmes hosts Deportivo Riestra at the Centenario.
