He almost lost his arm.
This Wednesday, February 1, around 11:20 p.m., a homeless person was seriously injured in an accident at the Juvisy-sur-Orge bus station (Essonne).
According to a police source, this very alcoholic man first tried to board a Keolis Meyer bus, but the driver refused.
Annoyed, the homeless man then got across the bus, his back against the front of the vehicle.
He probably didn't think the driver was going to restart, knock him down and then run over him.
The victim's arm was crushed by the rear wheels of the bus, which then stopped.
The firefighters and the Samu quickly intervened.
They diagnosed the homeless man with a broken arm.
The amputation, a time envisaged, was ruled out.
The driver was “fired”
The 66-year-old man was immediately taken to the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital (Val-de-Marne), without vital prognosis.
The 29-year-old driver, for his part, was placed in police custody until Friday evening, said a judicial source.
The police custody was lifted for further investigations.
In any case, he was neither positive for narcotics nor alcohol.
According to the Évry-Courcouronnes public prosecutor's office, contacted on Friday, the Juvisy-sur-Orge police station was seized of an investigation for "unintentional injuries with a motor vehicle resulting in an incapacity of less than three months".
Pending legal action, Keolis Meyer indicates that he has "laid him off as a precaution".
"We regret this event and send all our solidarity to the victim and his family," said the Keolis group.
Justice has been seized and we are obviously at its disposal as part of the investigation.
