A group of about 50 protesters from Kirchnerist organizations from the so-called 7th March for the Sovereignty of Lago Escondido
finally reached the property of the English businessman Joe Lewis and began a camp
.
The British mansion is located a few meters from the shore of Lake Escondido in front of a spectacular landscape.
The militants reached this point
after two days of walking on the mountain route
.
The other is through the Tacuifí road, which is closed by a gate and under the surveillance of about 60 gauchos from the south.
The journey of these protesters was prolonged because they spent several hours kayaking through the Soberanía Lagoon and setting fires in the surroundings, two actions prohibited by the Río Negro Environment Secretariat.

group is led by Jorge Rachid, a doctor from Milagro Sala
, who was observed enjoying the kayak ride, as seen in videos that go through groups and networks.
The protesters are in
the same area that Juan Grabois reached in December 2022 along with about 70 people
.
But Grabois and his people were less prepared and had to leave due to the lack of food, water and the prevailing cold at dawn.
Rachid ordered to bring food and tents in large numbers, but the route they had to take to reach the shore of Lake Escondido and next to Lewis's house, implied them to consume a good part of their reserves, as

So
he and his followers do not have food and water to stay much longer in the sector

The protesters have warned that they will leave through the gate that divides Route 40 from the fields.
This is the place where the Patagonian gauchos remain
stationed and prevent the passage of the other column of the Kirchnerist and left-wing organizations
that make it up.
There are more than 150 people out of the nearly 500 who originally came to EL Foyel.
Most of the march participants are young.
Some of them announced that they will maintain a hunger strike until the passage through Tacuifil is opened for them.
Meanwhile, the group has been settling in the private sector of Lewis in which esplanades of cultivated grass stand out and the rest of the property consists of the houses of the workers, visitors and administrators and stables.
The youngsters intersperse walks in Lewis's “garden” with moments at the lake as if it were a public beach vacation.
