Yesterday (February 3) at about 10:30 p.m., the police received a report from an enthusiastic citizen surnamed Li (45 years old) that a cat shop on the first floor of Tang 1, No. 154-158 Sai Yeung Choi South Street was suspected of closing down. There are still cats that are not cared for.
The firefighters arrived after receiving the report, first raised the ladder to check from the outer window, and after confirming that there were indeed cats in the store, they assisted the police to break in.
Officers recovered 4 cats at the scene, of which 1 was apparently dead and the remaining 3 were still alive.

According to the news, after the personnel broke into the store, He saw that the store was in a mess and the environment was harsh. The four cats seized were all yellow and skinny, including British shorthair cats, Maine Coon cats and Ragdoll cats. One of them had died. Apparently dead, and one hind limb was suspected to be fractured, the scene was horrible.
The police classified the case as "cruel treatment of animals" and are now contacting the person in charge to investigate the incident, and then notified the Society for the Protection of Animals to send staff to the scene to deal with the cats.
