The defendant held the key to the Qin Unit
The prosecution read out its opening statement that Qin, who was born in Sichuan, divorced his ex-husband in 2007.
When she worked as a publicist in a nightclub in Hong Kong, she married the defendant, who was married, and the two dated in 2008.

Qin's elder brother reported Qin's disappearance a few months later.
The police investigation found that the defendant entered the building where Qin lived on the night of October 6.
It is not disputed in the case that the defendant illegally killed Qin in the unit.
The defendant then went out to buy vacuum bags, gloves and fresh-keeping paper, etc., and then returned to the unit, staying for about an hour before leaving.
Put Qin's body in a nylon bag and dump it in Tseung Kwan O
The defendant did not return to the unit until the next day, then left with a nylon bag on a trolley, and then drove to Tseung Kwan O.
The prosecution pointed out that Qin's body was hidden in the nylon bag, and he had abandoned it somewhere, but Qin's body was not found in the end.
