A policeman from Douai was indicted on Thursday for rape and sexual assault on minors, four of whom, entrusted to the Childhood Social Aid, were welcomed at his home because his wife worked as a family assistant, a-t- we learned Friday from the prosecution.
This 55-year-old police officer in Douai (North) was imprisoned, the public prosecutor of Cambrai, Ingrid Görgen, told AFP, confirming information from France Bleu.
Multiple rapes
This man “
has been indicted for several acts of rape of 15-year-old minors by a person having authority over the victims, sexual assaults on 15-year-old minors and sexual exhibitions,
” said the prosecutor.
The facts would have taken place over two distinct periods, in 2017/2018 on the one hand and 2021/2022 on the other hand, "
to the detriment of five different victims, including four who had been placed at the ASE and welcomed by the wife of the interested party as a foster family,
" she explained.
