Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev announced that the Russian aviation industry is achieving a new qualitative leap despite Western sanctions on the country, noting that the government has approved a comprehensive program to develop the air transport industry.
The Russian Novosti agency quoted Patrushev as saying during today's meeting: "Russia has all the opportunities not only to overcome difficulties, but also to achieve a new leap on the path of development in the aviation industry sector despite the restrictions of sanctions," referring to the positive changes that have occurred recently in the field of aviation.
The Russian aviation industry as launching major projects to manufacture and modernize aviation means and develop industrial enterprises technically.
The Secretary of the Russian Security Council stated that the Government of the Russian Federation approved a comprehensive program for the development of the air transport industry in the country until 2030, pointing out that it is planned to supply more than a thousand aircraft to meet the needs of civil aviation.
