Thus speaks Jean-Luc Mélenchon:
“
The rich are responsible for the misfortune of the poor
;
Accumulating money is immoral, since what is accumulated is what one has taken from others.
We can of course shrug our shoulders in the face of such declarations, where demagoguery competes with ignorance of the most elementary economic rules.
We can also remember that the same Jean-Luc Mélenchon declared in 2022 a real estate heritage of 1.4 million euros, which proves once again that the rich is always the other.
Still, a country
that has inscribed equality on the front of all its public buildings is never completely indifferent to such a clear-cut speech.
Especially when the difficulties of the hour (inflation, pension reform, etc.) are concomitant with unprecedented levels of profits and stock market valuations for our large groups.
Jealousy helping, it is then easy to believe that the money earned by some has been to the detriment of others.
