they are carrying out the total renovation of its main vehicular artery to improve the connectivity of the neighborhoods with each other and with health centers, schools and urban areas.
The work comprises a total of 24 blocks and the work has already begun.
The avenue in question is
Olimpo, an emblematic site in the area
since the old fair of the same name was located there, where they sold a large number of second-hand items, but which was dismantled a couple of years ago.
Currently
there are scattered fairs, detached from that, in different places in the vicinity of La Salada.
The truth is that in those 2.4 kilometers of the avenue that go
from Homero Street to Doctor Gilberto Elizalde Avenue,
they are not only paving again but they will also carry out complementary works such as the construction of sidewalks and accessibility ramps, horizontal demarcation, vertical signage, placement of shelters, rainwater works and enhancement of the lighting system.

"Once the work is finished, the levels of connectivity will increase, bringing the inhabitants closer with their work demands, connection with consumption centers, and access to the basic demands of health, education and recreation," they maintain from the Commune .

the Minister of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis
, arrived in Lomas to supervise the progress of this work.

The comprehensive paving work is financed by the National Ministry of Public Works through a program of sustainable mobility and accessibility works in the main corridors of the municipalities of Greater Buenos Aires.
These works are key to the area since their specific scope is very broad.
The local authorities estimate that it will benefit 3,000 people and will directly favor the neighborhoods of Antártida Argentina, Juan Manuel de Rosas, Juan Manuel de Rosas II, Mariscal Sucre, 6 de Agosto, 30 de Agosto, Santa Catalina I, Santa Catalina II, April 10 and Villa La Noria.

In this first stage
, excavation and concrete placement tasks
are being carried out between Homero and Euskadi streets;
