Adviser to the President of the Donetsk People's Republic, Igor Kimakovsky, announced that the Russian army cut off several main roads in Oglidar, south of Donetsk, and is close to encircling it.
And the Novosti agency quoted Kimakovsky as saying: “Several main roads were cut off in Oglidar, where ammunition and manpower were transported to the enemy forces. And it follows the same scheme as in Artemovsk.”
Counselor Kimakovsky indicated that the difficult situation is escalating on the front line, where the Ukrainian forces are trying to launch a counterattack. In the Kremnaya region, where the 237th Airborne Airborne Assault Regiment takes over the defense mission, the enemy tried yesterday to carry out a counterattack with a number of small groups, but it suffered heavy losses in manpower and equipment.
