For the first day of vacation in zone A, Bison Futé recommends avoiding the A43 motorway between Lyon and Chambéry.

The winter holidays begin this weekend for zone A (academies of Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon, Poitiers).

Disruptions are to be expected to get to the alpine ski resorts.

Bison futé classifies the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region as a red zone on the main roads leading to the winter resorts.

This Saturday, February 4, it is recommended to avoid the A43 motorway between Lyon and Chambéry, particularly between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., where the axis is classified red.

From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., traffic will remain difficult, the axis being classified orange.

There are no other disruptions to be expected this Saturday in the direction of departures and returns.

No saturation is expected on Sunday on the roads of France.
