The World Health Organization has recorded more than 85,000 infections and 89 deaths from monkeypox in the world, noting that most of the infections are in the United States.

And Tass news agency quoted the organization as saying in its latest report that “from the beginning of January last year until the end of last January, 85,449 cases of monkeypox and 89 deaths were recorded from 110 countries,” noting that 13 countries reported an increase in infection rates during the period.
