Director of forestry at the ministry, Dr. Ali Thabet, explained in a statement to SANA that the ministry, as part of the activities of the campaign to distribute 5 free forest seedlings to each family, launched a campaign to distribute free Indian and Japanese mulberry seedlings to those wishing to plant them on their lands, with the aim of benefiting from their fruits and breeding silkworms, which constitutes an economic resource. an additional income generator for them.
Thabet indicated that the seedlings will be distributed to the family book within a timetable, which includes the location of the planting centers and the date of receipt, whether in the agricultural departments or extension units, forestry people, forest outposts and protection centers, calling on all citizens to participate in the free planting campaign for each family under the slogan ( love - giving - growth).
