The Russian ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, described the US decision to supply the Ukrainian regime with more weapons as a deliberate escalation of the conflict.

"Sending more powerful weapons to the Kyiv regime is a deliberate escalation of the conflict on the part of the United States," Antonov said, commenting on the US decision to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles, according to Antonov, adding that the US administration has practically put all its weight, international influence, and American taxpayers' money on it. Ukrainian bet.

Antonov warned that Washington could reach the point of absolute madness by providing Ukraine with combat aircraft, adding: “Washington is practically inciting its agents to attack Russian regions, given that all the lands that have become part of Russia at the will of its residents are from our homeland, which we will defend with all our might.”

Antonov also stressed that any attempt to harm the Russian Federation is doomed to a complete failure, explaining that the sooner the United States realizes this, the earlier the conflict can be ended.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed yesterday that Western countries, led by the United States, are seeking to escalate the conflict in Ukraine, by continuing to pump weapons to the Kyiv regime.
