, suspected of being the perpetrator of the brutal sexual violence committed on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday in the historic center, the fourth episode of sexual violence since New Year's Day.
The investigators, coordinated by the prosecutor's office, are continuing their investigations and are collecting all the elements to identify the perpetrator.

On New Year's Eve a 20-year-old girl said she passed through the alleys to go to the Porto Antico, that she was blocked by three strangers who dragged her to an apartment where she was allegedly abused.
A woman her age said a few days later that she was raped by two men after being robbed as she was walking through the Baltimore Gardens.
An escalation that has raised the level of attention also on the part of the prosecution

"The phenomenon is serious - said the chief prosecutor Nicola Piacente - and the last case was more brutal than the others and is worrying".
It is not excluded that all the episodes can be brought together in a single file given that there are two common elements of all the episodes: the drug use by the victims and the place where the abuses took place, namely the caruggi.
The attention of the police and carabinieri is concentrated on the world of drug dealing:
the hypothesis is that there is not a single aggressor, but a group of pushers who take advantage of people addicted to drugs.
