,” Justin Trudeau said in a tweet.
Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand said in a statement that she and Justin Trudeau were "
briefed about today's operation by the National Security and Intelligence Advisor and the Head of State -major of defense.

The binational organization of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) carried out the follow-up and analysis of the trajectory and actions of the surveillance balloon at high altitude
”, further indicated the Minister.
The balloon had flown over Canada before entering United States airspace.
