Kassel – A railway employee died in a fatal accident in Bebra in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district.
According to the federal police in Kassel, the incident happened on Friday (February 3) in the marshalling yard.
According to current investigations, the 38-year-old was hit and killed by a rolling railway wagon around 3 p.m., the police said in a press release.
The officials did not provide any further information about the cause of the accident, reports hna.de.
The police headquarters in East Hesse took over the investigation.
A spokesman told the German Press Agency that the man came from the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district.
