The Paris Première program embarks on a tour of France's regions, an opportunity to meet a very media-friendly chef.


After celebrating the tenth anniversary of the show, having "gone to the pan" and celebrating Christmas, the team of "Very Very Good" is innovating once again.

François-Régis Gaudry, who has been presenting the program since its launch, and his acolytes have decided to set off to discover our regions, offering us a tour of France of the best local products and essential addresses to enjoy at Paris Première.

A road-trip in the heart of the French terroir

For four consecutive weeks, they share their tricolor road-trip by taking us, every Sunday at 12 p.m., to a corner of France to highlight local specialties and figures.

The journey begins this Sunday, February 5 in the Basque Country.

On the menu: Bayonne ham, taloa (cake made with corn flour) or Espelette pepper.

François-Régis Gaudry will test the Basa restaurant in Bayonne with Frédéric Beigbeder while Gwilherm will explore the vineyard.

The trip will continue on Sunday February 12 in Brittany where they will invite themselves to the Roellinger family then on the 19th in the Jura with the young cook and former candidate for “Top Chef”, Matthias Marc.

The trip will end with the exploration of the Pays Bordelais on February 26.

A “Top Chef” juror at home

During this stay in the South-West, François-Régis Gaudry and his team will meet a very well-known and sworn chef of "Top Chef" and who is participating in the program "Très très bon" for the first time. .

It is Philippe Etchebest who will be honored in this episode shot in his region of heart.

The chef is, in fact, based in Bordeaux where he delights the inhabitants in his three restaurants: the brasserie Le Quatrième mur, La Table d'hôtes, located opposite the kitchens of the first (one star in the Michelin Guide) and Maison nouvelle, his new baby opened in December 2021 which is also crowned with a macaroon.

During this epic in Bordeaux, the media chef will share the table with the chroniclers of the program and will make discover the soil which is close to his heart.

The opportunity to see the one who helps the restaurateurs in “Nightmare in the kitchen” and who coaches the candidates in “Top Chef”, in another light.
