Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro stressed the need to quickly pursue bilateral cooperation programs between Venezuela and Iran.
Maduro said during his meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in Caracas today: “The great alliance between Venezuela and Iran will continue to strengthen its efforts to build greater prosperity, development and solidarity between the two brotherly countries,” adding: “I am confident that our relations will develop for the sake of exchange.” technological, industrial, scientific and cultural benefits for both peoples.”
The Venezuelan President visited Tehran several months ago, and a comprehensive strategic cooperation document was signed between Iran and Venezuela for a period of 20 years.
