Moguenard, Louis Aliot unearths the good results of the RN in the city where Indochine will play in concert

The cancellation of a festival in Perpignan at the request of the Indochine group had annoyed the mayor (RN) Louis Aliot. The event will finally be held in a city which placed Marine Le Pen in the lead at 65% in the second round in 2022, he quipped.

The 2023 edition of the Déferlantes festival was to be held in his stronghold of Perpignan, which he was delighted with.

But Louis Aliot was quite annoyed by the cancellation of the event, under the pressure of several artists who were to perform there, in particular the rock groups Indochine and Louise Attaque.

Both had threatened not to participate in the Déferlantes if the festival was maintained in Perpignan, because of the political affiliation of its councilor.

The organizers finally announced that the festival would be held from July 14 to 16 in the Pyrénées-Orientales, but in the town of Baracarès, whose unlabeled mayor Alain Ferrand is a former member of the UMP.

Resentful, Louis Aliot then split a tweet to emphasize that the overwhelming majority of the inhabitants of the commune are however voters … of the National Rally.

Supporting evidence: Marine Le Pen obtained 65.65% of the votes there in the second round of the presidential election against Emmanuel Macron, and the RN deputy for this constituency, Anaïs Sabatini, had gathered at Barcarès 67.32% of the voice in his duel against a majority candidate.

"I thank Indochine who chose to perform in the 66th city that votes the most for Marine Le Pen and the RN!"

thus wrote Louis Aliot.

In reality and to be perfectly exact, in the department of the eastern Pyrenees where Marine Le Pen had won more than 56% of the votes in the second round, Barcarès is only the... twelfth city where the RN vote is the strongest. .

Eleven other municipalities voted even more for it.

It was in Lansac that Marine Le Pen's score reached its highest point in the department: out of 77 registered voters, more than 80% of voters preferred her to Emmanuel Macron.
