Peace talks with Sudan:
A senior official in Sudan's military government is expected to arrive in Israel in the coming days, to continue preparations for a mutual recognition and peace agreement between Khartoum and Jerusalem.
This was learned by Israel Hayom.
The senior Sudanese will meet with Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, who leads the contacts with the giant Arab country, as well as with other officials in Israel.
The purpose of his arrival is to promote relations before the signing of the peace agreement as well as to continue the preparations for mutual recognition, after a civilian government is established in Sudan.

On Thursday, Foreign Minister Cohen made a historic visit to Khartoum, during which he handed the Acting President, Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, a draft of a peace agreement between the two countries.
In Israel they are waiting to hear the reaction of the Sudanese to the document.
As a reminder, according to the condition set by the USA (which is a party to the agreement), only after the end of the military rule in Sudan will it give its blessing to the agreement.
