LFI

"requested each of the founding components of Nupes (PS, EELV, Generations, PCF) for a meeting in order to discuss its desire to take a new step in Nupes"

, according to a press release.

"We propose to continue and amplify our joint campaign on pensions, by promoting the creation of local collectives on the subject everywhere in France"

, indicates Manuel Bompard, coordinator of LFI, in these messages to each of his allies, made public.

Regarding the next partial legislative in Ariège, after the cancellation of the election of Bénédicte Taurine (LFI),

"we want to check with you that we can count, as in the other constituencies, on a Nupes entirely united behind her candidacy"

, adds Mr. Bompard.

"People's Assemblies"

Within the PS, the number one Olivier Faure is determined to support the candidate LFI-Nupes, but the Deputy First Secretary Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol believes that the question is

"not settled"

if a dissident PS candidate present.

LFI also proposes to

"decline everywhere in France popular assemblies of the Nupes at the level of municipalities, cantons and constituencies"

, and to

"have initial discussions on the preparation of the next electoral deadlines"

, European elections taking place in 2024.

"In this moment of great intensity when our confrontation with the policy of Emmanuel Macron culminates, our electoral victories and our unity in the fight validate the strategy of the Nupes forged last June"

for the legislative elections, affirms Mr. Bompard, who wishes “respond to the deep popular aspiration for a political alternative in our country”.
