(CNN Spanish) --

This week the musical premieres are headed by Karol G and his collaboration with Romeo Santos.

Don Juan also appears, that is to say Maluma, with the theme "La formula" together with Marc Anthony.

In Zona Pop CNN we compile some of the most outstanding premieres.

Check out the list of these music premieres and their videos.

Music releases of the week

Karol G and Romeo Santos, "X if we return"

Karol G heads our musical premieres of the week with this new single with the king of bachata, Romeo Santos.

It is about “X si volvemos”, a song that, although it talks about a love break, leaves open the proposal of another meeting.

Universal Music, the Colombian label, shared that the color of the video

visualizer

(which is not the official video clip), has to do with thermography, or the visualization of temperature through colors and without the need to have direct contact with some object or body.

"The warm colors represent the areas of greatest interest where there was

fire

or more thermal energy," says the record company.

A curiosity: Romeo Santos heard a preview of this song on TikTok before Karol G (who shared that bit of song on his account) officially proposed to collaborate.

The visualizer

is number one in trend on YouTube in the United States, surpassing Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.

JP Saxe and Camilo, “Moderation”

The Canadian singer-songwriter –with strong artistic relations with Latin America– returns to our list of musical premieres with “Moderación”, a bilingual collaboration with his friend, the Colombian singer Camilo.

“Camilo is one of my favorite artists on earth and my brother.

Making this song together is a dream and I'm grateful to be able to sing a song I love with a human being I love," JP Saxe said in a statement.

For Camilo it was also a dream to be able to compose with Saxe.

“I'm so grateful that we had the opportunity to sit down and write this song together, it's something I'm very proud of and I can't wait to share this track.

One thing JP and I have in common is that we don't like people who love in moderation," Camilo shared.

The video clip was directed by Evaluna Montaner (Camilo's wife) and Ricky Montaner (Evaluna's brother and part of the Mau y Ricky group).

Maluma and Marc Anthony, "The Formula"

Years ago we used to listen to Maluma singing salsa on his social networks, then “Felices los 4” came in that genre and now we have an unprecedented collaboration with one of the salsa stars, Marc Anthony.

The theme refers to the fact that there is no "formula" to forget a person you loved.

"La formula" will be part of Maluma's new album.

The song was written between Maluma and Marc Anthony together with Sergio George, Édgar Barrera, Kevin Mauricio Jiménez, Bryan Snaider Lezcano, Justin Quiles and René David Cano.

OK, "Something's wrong with me"

The Colombian twin sister duo Vale returns to our list of musical premieres with “Something happens to me”, their first song of the year.

The Latin Grammy nominees for the best new artist of 2022, this time they sing to the moment when you realize that you are falling in love with someone.

The song was written by the sisters and produced by Daniel "Vago" Galindo.

Steve Aoki and CNCO, “Different”

We close the main list of musical releases with “Diferente” the collaboration between DJ and producer Steve Aoki and the Latin

boyband

CNCO.

The song is a fusion of pop with electronic music.

"I had been wanting to work with them for a long time and our schedules did not coincide to be able to do something, so I am very happy to finally be able to do it. I love their style and the talent of these guys. We had a lot of fun recording this song!" he said Aoki through a statement.

For CNCO the feeling of collaboration was mutual.

“Collaborating with Steve was something we wanted to do for a long time, it's a new sound that fans have never heard from us.

We hope everyone enjoys this song as much as we do," the group said.

Other notable musical premieres:

Jessi Uribe and Yeison Jiménez, "I threw myself into alcohol"

Spite has always been a source of inspiration for music.

And alcohol is also for some a vehicle to erase – at least temporarily – pain.

This is the first collaboration between two greats of Colombian popular music, Jessi Uribe and Yeison Jiménez.

ADSO and ROYAL, “365”

This is the first theme that ADSO presents in 2023. The song is inspired, says the artist, by two films: “365 days” and “3 meters above the sky”.

"The song was born in the studio with the intention of doing something romantic with the themes of both films," ADSO said in a statement.

Jay Wheeler, "SOS"

Another who also starts the year with new music is the Puerto Rican singer Jay Wheeler.

“SOS” becomes his first single of 2023.

“SOS is a song that people are going to enjoy because it is part of my essence and what those who follow my music want to hear.

It is romantic, but moved.

I keep my style, but I also combine a retro sound with the modern and I love the video.

I hope people enjoy it, sing it and dedicate it," Wheeler said in a statement.

Valentina, “I'm sad, you're happy”

TOT and KAPO, “Bandida”

TIMØ , "Your nickname"

Víctor Cibrian, “Follow the empire by raffling”

PtaZeta and Lola indigo, “Tiki Tiki”

MC Davo and Tornillo, “Todo menso”

Hozwal and Young Miko, "Big Booty"

Dale Pututi, El Chacal and Joey Calveiro, “Tonto”
