After a week of rumors and 24 hours after the game was played, Boca fans received bad news.
It is that the Public Prosecutor of the City of Buenos Aires announced this Saturday the closure of one of the stands of the La Bombonera stadium, where the 'Xeneize' will receive Central Córdoba from Santiago del Estero for the second date of the Professional Soccer League (LPF).
There are two main reasons why the South upper tribune -in the third tray- has been disabled preventively: an investigation into the resale of tickets that caused an alleged overcrowding in the championship debut against Atlético Tucumán and the potential risks security due to shortcomings and building deficiencies in the stadium structure.
The Criminal, Misdemeanor and Misdemeanor Court No. 1, in charge of Dr. Rodolfo Ariza Clerici, asked to carry out the corresponding technical studies, as reported in a statement.
The measure would affect some 5,000 adherent members who are usually located in that sector, while club sources informed Clarín that they will issue an official statement to explain the situation and the decision regarding these incomes.
