The State Office for the Environment reports two photo proofs in the Weilheim-Schongau district.

County – The wolf sightings in the county are piling up.
After the dramatic incident on a farm near Böbing, when it was proven that a wolf had killed several sheep in the immediate vicinity of the house at the beginning of November, a reader contacted us who had an eerie encounter near Bromberg this week.

Animal runs "at full speed across the street"
According to this, he was on his way from Böbing to work in Murnau at around 8.30 a.m. when a large animal crossed the road directly in front of him at about the level of the Bromberg Alm.
"I was really scared when the animal ran across the street at full speed," he says.

It was clear to him that it wasn't a fox, he thinks it was a wolf.
This could mean that the animal feels comfortable in the region.
Because in addition to the case already mentioned, there were two photos in December alone that were clearly identified as wolves by the experts at the State Office for the Environment.
As a spokesman said, the recordings were made on December 11 and 19 "at two different locations in the western district of Weilheim-Schongau" - the LfU does not provide more precise location information.
