Dozens of managers of large chains: "The legal revolution may result in serious damage to the economy" | Israel today

 Dozens of CEOs of large chains in the economy came out today (Sunday) calling on the government, the opposition and the Supreme Court to start negotiations before the legal reform is enacted and to avoid passing it unilaterally.

Among the signatories of the letter: Chairman of the BIG Group, Eitan Bar Ze'ev and CEO of the group, Chai Galis, CEO of Electra Consumer, Zvika Schwimmer, CEO of Fox Group, Harel Wiesel, CEO of Cafe Cafe, Ronan Namani, Mali Cinema City, CEO of Zomat Sharifim, Avi Shumer, Chairman of Aroma Israel, Yariv Shefa and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Beryl Group, Shahar Turgeman, who initiated the reading.

In the announcement published by the CEOs, it is stated that: "The apparent legal revolution, in the way it is progressing, leads to the widening of the division in the people and may lead to serious damage to the Israeli economy - you as public leaders have the ability to reach a compromise and there is no doubt that today more than ever compromise is the need of the hour.

We follow with great concern the developments in the public arena and the growing rift between the various parts of the nation."

They added that "the apparent legal revolution, in the way it is progressing, leads to the widening of the division in the nation and may lead to serious damage to Israel's economy."

The signatories emphasized that this is an "apolitical organization, which includes voters from all parties in Israel. According to them, the consequences of the lack of dialogue may be fateful for our future in general and the future of the Israeli economy in particular."
