The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, discussed with the Jarih Al-Watan project team today the current reality of educational empowerment for the wounded, and the educational plan related to them for the current academic year.
The two sides discussed the mechanism of developing an implementation plan that encourages the war-wounded to complete their education, achieve their aspirations through knowledge and professional development, and facilitate all those educational and examination details related to it.
The Jarih al-Watan project team presented, according to what the ministry published on its Facebook page, the rate of development in the data of the wounded who obtained basic and secondary education certificates, especially after the signing of the agreement last year between the ministry and the Jarih al-Watan project, and the educational action plan for the current academic year, where 163 injured The secondary education certificate in 2022, with an increase of 98 injured from the year 2021, while 123 injured people obtained the basic education certificate in 2022, an increase of 70 injured from the year 2021.
Minister Tabbaa affirmed the Ministry's support for everything that enables the war-wounded to complete education, submit exams and obtain certificates, indicating that work is underway to issue a memorandum that regulates all educational work related to the wounded homeland according to a ministerial decision that guarantees easy access for the learner to his goal, in addition to that work is continuing to benefit from the sessions Examinations and lessons provided through educational platforms and the educational satellite channel, facilitating registration procedures and applying for general exams for the injured, providing the necessary books, and so on.
