In the background of the heavy allegations against him, according to which he was involved in cases of abuse, rape and possibly even cannibalism, the actor Armie Hammer spoke for the first time about the turmoil around him and revealed that he was sexually abused when he was 13 years old and that he tried to commit suicide about two years ago.

In an interview that the actor gave to the magazine "Air Mail" and that was published at the end of the week, he claimed that his interest in BDSM and certain dynamics of sexual relations began after the sexual ascension he underwent at the hands of a young priest.
"It caused sexuality to enter my life in a way where it was completely out of my control. I was powerless in this situation, I had no control. Since then I thought I wanted to have control over sexual situations."

The 36-year-old Hollywood actor, who until the allegations against him were published about two years ago, was considered a rising star in the world of cinema, also said that he tried to commit suicide when he was in the Cayman Islands in February 2021, by swimming deep into the sea in the hope that he would die as a result of drowning, a shark attack or being hit by a boat.
"I swam as far as I could, but then I realized my kids were still on the beach, and I wouldn't want to do that to them," he said.
Referring to the claim that he raped a woman, he denied the rape - saying that it was part of a fantasy he fulfilled with a woman with whom he cheated on his wife at the time.
"She planned all the details, including where I would see her, how I would follow her to her house, how I would enter the front door of her house that would not be locked, and how we would consensually clean up a 'non-consensual scene,'" he said.
"We talked about every little thing before. I've never done something like that on someone without consent."

Hammer also responded to similar claims from two women, claiming that he would date women in their mid-20s while he was a successful actor in his 30s.
"They could simply have been happy to meet with me and they might not have agreed to things normally. This is an incorrect use of power in the situation."
When asked by the interviewer if he was "emotionally abusive" to women, Hammer replied: "A million percent yes."
The former star, who as a result of the harsh allegations against him was removed from a number of film and television projects, tried to make amends, saying that he wanted to take responsibility for his mistakes, as he said.
"I was scum and selfish, I used people to make me feel better, and when I was done with them I moved on. Now I'm a healthier, happier, more balanced person. I'm able to be there for my kids in a way I wasn't before. I'm grateful for my life and my recovery. I wouldn't go back and undo everything that happened to me."
According to "Air Mail", the interviewer tried to contact one of the women who expressed their complaint against Hammer on several occasions, but she did not respond to the request for a comment and even blocked the interviewer on Instagram.
