A man crossed the border from Israel to Lebanon today (Sunday) and was taken for questioning by the security forces - this was reported by media in the country.

According to the report, he crossed the border in the area of ​​Marj Eyon, a Lebanese town located north of Metula.

This is the second time in a week that an event of this type has occurred.



Since then, as far as is known, talks have been going on between security officials and UNIFIL to find out how the citizen is doing. A security official said that he was spotted by surveillance while crossing the territory from Israel to Lebanon on his own accord.

In March of last year, an Israeli citizen resident of the village of Arab al-Aramsha crossed the Lebanese border and was returned an hour later to Israeli territory.

The suspect was handed over to the police.

The citizen crossed the border at night.

When soldiers noticed what was happening, they called for him to return but without success.
