The storm "Barbara" will arrive in Israel tomorrow (Monday).

The storm will bring with it strong winds, cold, heavy rains and in Hermon and the Galilee and Golan mountains.

After the heavy rains that fell last weekend, this evening (Sunday) will be partly cloudy and cold when strong winds will blow throughout Israel and in the north.

The winds that will blow tonight are a prelude to Storm Barbara that will enter Israel tomorrow.

The storm will begin in the north of the country on Monday morning and heavy snow will fall on Mount Hermon.

Later in the day it will spread to the peaks of the Golan and Galilee mountains.

In the afternoon, heavy rains will fall in the center of the country, and will spread to the north of the Negev.

The rains will be accompanied by thunderstorms and hail.

At the same time, there is also a fear of floods in the Mizrah streams and the Dead Sea.

The storm Barbara will accompany Israel on Tuesday as well, and on that day too, rain will fall all over the country.

At the same time, the cold will intensify and snow may fall in the northern and central mountains at heights of 900 meters.

But apparently he will not reach Jerusalem.

The storm will continue into Wednesday and there will still be a chance of snow in the northern and central mountains above 900 meters when the rains will diminish in the afternoon and towards the evening.

However, at night, heavy and widespread cold is expected in the designated places.

It will also be unusually cold on Thursday night after the end of the storm's rain episode.

There will be a partial warming only on Friday and then the effect of the storm Barbara on Israel will completely end.

According to the forecast of the meteorological service until Wednesday evening, February 8, there is a fear of floods in the eastern and southern streams, flooding in the prone areas and snow on the high peaks, there is an absolute prohibition to enter the riverbeds on foot and by vehicle until the water level drops completely - life-threatening!

The meteorological service warns that it is forbidden to approach the edge of a river during a flood for fear of the bank collapsing.

Descending from marked trails is prohibited and dangerous - with accumulation of snow on the ground, it is difficult to notice signs warning of Mikush and other dangers.
