The Syrian publishers participating in the Cairo International Book Fair noted the importance of this participation, which carries a message of science and culture, pointing to the public interaction with the Syrian publications in various fields.
Salah al-Din Nakma of Zahrat al-Mustaqbal House said in a statement to SANA reporter in Cairo: The Cairo exhibition is considered one of the important opposition to publishing houses in the world, pointing out that a large number of Syrian publishing houses participate in it with publications rich and diverse in science and knowledge, which met with great response and admiration among visitors to the exhibition. And presented a message of love to all peoples in different languages.
For his part, Imad Al-Rifai from Dar Al-Imad Publishing stated that the participation of the Syrian publishing houses in the exhibition is very important and there is a constant insistence on their participation, because it is considered an outlet for the presence of the Syrian houses in international exhibitions, noting the great public turnout for the exhibition.
In her turn, Amina Othman, from Tammuz Demozy House, said: The house seeks to be present in all Arab and international exhibitions to carry the message of science and culture to everyone, noting that the Cairo exhibition is considered one of the most important exhibitions, and there is always an intention to participate richly and actively in it.
Haitham Al-Ghazali of Dar Nineveh said: The house has been participating in the exhibition for 23 years without interruption, and presents its publications that enrich the Arab and international library because of the culture, science and literature it contains, pointing out that the Cairo exhibition is one of the most important international exhibitions because of the convergence of cultures in it.
For his part, Ziyad Al-Makhalati from Dar Al-Asmaa said: The Syrian participation in international events continues and is increasing, especially the Cairo International Book Fair through various publications in different fields such as literature, history and educational books.
Wael Kaddour of Dar Al-Yamamah said: The Syrian participation in the exhibition was well received and admired, as the Syrian publishing houses were present in abundance and carried publications and titles that aroused the appetite of the Arab reader who was looking forward to obtaining the Syrian publications, due to the valuable cultural materials they contain.
It is noteworthy that the Cairo International Book Fair will be held in its 54th session during the period from the 25th of last January to the sixth of this month, and 1047 Egyptian, Arab and foreign publishers from 53 countries will participate in it.
