In a statement, the Air Force confirmed that it detected the same object on February 3.
“The National Air Defense System detected an object over 55,000 feet high, which entered Colombian airspace in the northern sector of the country, moving at an average speed of 25 knots, identifying characteristics similar to those of a globe," the statement said.
The defense system tracked the object "until it left the airspace."
At this time, they inform the public, they consider that the object "did not represent a threat to national security and defense, as well as air safety."
