Washington-SANA

The New York Times revealed that the long-term conflict in Ukraine will lead to very difficult consequences for the West and the whole world.

The newspaper stated, through an article by journalist Ross Dotat, that despite the assurances of various politicians that the long-term conflict will be beneficial for Ukraine and the United States, Kyiv and the West will, in fact, have to pay for it, not only with money, but also with the lives of many people.

She added: The long-term conflict will lead to a difficult economic and demographic situation for Ukraine after the war, and will harm the global economy, and will affect the fields of energy and food, which will result in the deaths of many people not only in Europe but also in poor countries around the world.

The newspaper believed that if the West wanted to avoid a potential global catastrophe, it must agree to Moscow's conditions, in order to start peace negotiations, explaining that if the next stage of the conflict shows that a compromise is necessary to achieve peace, it is better to reach it as soon as possible.
