The woman who was raped in her own home reacted this evening (Sunday) for the first time to the difficult incident.
In a message she sent in the WhatsApp group with her neighbors, the 30-year-old wrote: "I just got my phone back from the police. I just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you, thank you very much from the bottom of my soul. Thanks to you, it reached the media and they caught it. Thanks to you, I have the strength to deal with the case, You're The Best".
The brutal rape she went through shocked the neighbors in the building.
Her friend told today in a conversation with Walla!
Because the woman moved into the building only about a month ago, and after the incident went to her parents.
"She is very traumatized and is trying to recover, she and the children are undergoing psychological treatment."
According to her, her little son was the one who freed her from the cello tape the suspect used to tie her up."
"In the short time that followed, she was still in shock and just wanted to share with someone, so she wrote the message about the case on WhatsApp."
One of the residents of the building returned: "I think I was the first to see on WhatsApp what she sent - she wrote in the middle of the night 'They broke into my house, raped and tied me up' and after a minute she deleted it. I thought he must have deleted it so they wouldn't see it."
The woman struggled with the suspect, and after he left she left with the children, knocked on the door of the apartment next door and asked the neighbors for help.
She told them what happened, and they called the police, who arrived shortly after.
"She was in shock, couldn't talk too much," the neighbors said.
She and the children sat in their apartment until she was taken to a hospital.
