(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, FEBRUARY 05 - Three years after Patrick Zaki's arrest in Cairo, Amnesty International is calling everyone to rally to keep attention high on the case of the researcher from the University of Bologna.
The meeting is on 7 February, at 12, in front of the Egyptian embassy in Rome, send Salaria 267.
"Three years have passed since the arrest of Patrick Zaki in Cairo. Three years in which his life has been trapped in authentic persecution judicial process, between 22 months in a very harsh preventive prison and a trial for a non-existent crime", says Riccardo Noury, spokesman for Amnesty Italy.
"We hope that the February 28 hearing will give Patrick what he is asking for and to which he is entitled: acquittal and, through the lifting of the travel ban,
