3 people, two children and a woman, died, and 21 others were injured in the Al-Ghab area in Hama countryside, as a result of the earthquake.

The director of the Suqaylabiyah National Hospital, Dr. George Al-Wakil, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that two dead children were taken to the hospital, the first from the village of Tal al-Tattan and the other from the village of Al-Hawaiq, affected by their serious injuries, while a woman from the village of Al-Abr died, who was taken to the hospital, affected by the state of shock and panic as a result of the earthquake. In addition, 21 patients were hospitalized for treatment, most of whom are in stable condition, after emergency and medical care was provided to them.
