An aftershock measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck Gaziantep, southern Turkey.
According to the US Geological Survey, an aftershock of 5.3 degrees struck 29 kilometers southwest of Gaziantep, at a depth of 10 kilometers, and was felt by residents of a number of Syrian governorates.
