Klima-Kleber want to cover all of Germany with campaigns from Monday.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz sees such protests as harmful to the movement.
Berlin - Radical protests of the "last generation" such as the sticking actions on busy streets do not meet with approval from all sides.
They are even controversial within the climate movement.
Theodor Schnarr, activist of the group, told the
Munich newspaper IPPEN.MEDIA
: "The protest doesn't have to be more radical, but it will spread." They don't all have to stick to the streets.
But they must raise their voice.
Chancellor Scholz on campaigns by climate stickers: "They are counterproductive"
Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) is also critical of the protests.
In an interview with the
picture on Sunday
he said when asked how much understanding he has for the climate sticker.
“A lot of citizens shake their heads at such actions.
Me too.
They are counterproductive.”

Scholz has already criticized climate glue in the past.
During an SPD debate convention in November last year, he said that if the activists stuck to the streets and blocked traffic, they would get the opposite of what they wanted.
"I think the people who are stuck in traffic don't suddenly understand the seriousness of the issue, they just get annoyed from start to finish.
And so I think that's not a good idea."
Reactions to adhesive campaigns: Citizens sometimes react aggressively
From Monday (February 6), the climate stickers even want to paralyze the whole of Germany.
One of their stated goals is for the protests to be peaceful.
But affected citizens sometimes react aggressively to the actions.
