Many times we have heard about ACV, but do we really know what it is?

A stroke happens when blood flow to a part of the brain stops

.

This can happen due to a hemorrhage in the brain (Hemorrhagic stroke) or due to a blockage of an artery (Ischemic).

It is important to know and emphasize that no one is exempt, we can all suffer it.

Therefore, knowing what to do is essential.

The youngest learn by playing about the symptoms of ACV and how to act.

There are

three symptoms that we must mark on fire

that will help identify that a person is suffering from a stroke.

First ask him to smile.

In this case, we must alert ourselves if one side of the face droops or cannot smile.

Another of them is the loss of strength in an arm or leg, in order to check that everything is fine, they are asked to raise both arms, placing them at 90 degrees and once there, hold them for a few seconds.

If you can't pick one up or it falls off, it's a symptom of a stroke.

Finally, the difficulty when speaking, we can identify it because the person cannot speak or says incoherent things.

Every minute counts, so

getting to the hospital quickly or calling 107 or your emergency service is paramount

, as up to 2 million neurons die every minute.

According to statistics, 87% of all strokes are ischemic and, as no less, these are treatable.

If you go to the health center quickly, you can save your life or avoid permanent damage.

Dr. Pablo Ioli (MP 93381) Neurologist and Vice President of the Argentine Neurological Society emphasized: “When there are symptoms, you must consult, you must not minimize them.

Sometimes there are episodes of transient stroke symptoms where patients feel like they are going away after a few minutes, they leave it for another time.

This cannot happen, you have to consult the emergency room because that could be the warning of an event that is installed permanently ”.

The little ones become great heroes.

Without a doubt

you have to act quickly

and that is what the action is about, which is part of the Heroes FAST global campaign that is being carried out this summer in Mar del Plata, Partido de la Costa and in Villa Carlos Paz, in Córdoba, which aims to teach the boys to identify the symptoms and know what to do when a stroke occurs.

They will be able to transform into true superheroes and help save lives like in the movies, but in real life.

All information will be transmitted through games.

The winners will obviously receive prizes.

But

everyone will have a mission: to tell at least 4 adults what the symptoms are and what to do when they appear

.

To do this, they will be given a brochure that reminds them of what they have learned, with an album of figurines and a plate of stickers.

Every time they tell someone they must paste a sticker in the album.

By completing all 4 spaces, they will have completed their mission.

Each one of them took it upon themselves to tell at least 4 adults what the stroke symptoms are and what to do when they appear.

While the children learn by playing, one of the team members will hand out a brochure with the symptoms to the adults present.

He himself has the call of the speaker of the 2022 campaign, Javier Mascherano, to know the symptoms and act decisively and quickly.

You have to act with speed will rotate on weekends through the different beaches of the Atlantic Coast so that more than people can get information and know what to do.

In addition, with the aim of giving the message more frequency and that they can easily remember it, a plane will pass through Mar del Plata with the slogan of the

ACT WITH SPEED campaign.
