Sunday night's 2023 Grammy Awards was a landmark extravaganza filled with dynamic performances from iconic music artists.
And through it all, Ben Affleck looked dejected.

CBS cameras repeatedly caught Affleck, the actor and film director known for his grimaces and penchant for appearing taciturn while smoking cigarettes, sitting crestfallen next to his wife Jennifer Lopez during the show.
Many Grammy viewers watched as Affleck seemed to want to be anywhere but the Crypto.com Arena.
Beyoncé missed her Grammy award because she was stuck in traffic.
This was the moment when she received it
Legends like Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and Missy Elliott gave it their all on stage, while more recent artists like Kacey Musgraves and Quavo paid moving tributes to late music legends.
And throughout, Affleck vowed to appear... not very interested.
The internet, on the other hand, seemed to be very entertaining.

"Whoever keeps cutting Ben Affleck down as he gets more and more exasperated, thank you," author and radio host Elamin Abdelmahmoud said on Twitter.
Poor Ben.
After all, who can't relate to the feeling of being forced to attend an event that you really, deeply, have no interest in attending?
"Ben Affleck is every husband whose wife drags him to a work meeting," another person wrote on Twitter.
"Ben Affleck is every introvert everywhere," another Twitter user wrote.
"You can see his batteries drain in real time. The man is already at 23%. #SaveBen."
Still, Affleck made introverts proud to put up with it.
Somewhere, "sad Keanu" felt his pain.
Not all of the attendees seemed as unhappy as Affleck.
Harry Styles took home the album of the year Grammy for "Harry's House," shocking many who believed Beyoncé deserved it for "Renaissance."

Still, Queen Bey became the most awarded artist in Grammy history, with a record 32 wins.
Viola Davis, for her part, completed the elusive EGOT, after winning a Grammy for her memoir audiobook "Finding Me."
And at some point, after more than three hours of banter, acceptance speeches, and live performances, Ben Affleck had to go home.
