The home of billionaire Philippe Oddo in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine) was robbed this weekend, the Nanterre prosecutor's office told AFP on Monday, confirming information from the

Jewelry, watches and leather goods were allegedly stolen and, according to a source close to the case, the victim assessed his damage at 400,000 euros.
His private mansion, located in the wealthy western city of Paris, was robbed between Saturday and Sunday.

, a French window was forced open by the burglar(s).
The domestic workers would have noticed it on Sunday at noon.
The Hauts-de-Seine departmental judicial police service was seized of the investigation.

According to data from the specialized magazine Challenges, Philippe Oddo, 63, was in 2022 the 113th richest person in France with a fortune estimated at 1 billion euros.
He is the head of the Franco-German financial group Oddo BHF.
