This is what the investigators were able to establish concerning the stabbing, which occurred late Friday morning, in a street near the Nantes racecourse.
A man in his thirties was taken to Nantes University Hospital in serious condition after being stabbed in the femoral artery.
At first, his vital prognosis had even been engaged.

The suspected individual, a 16-year-old minor, was arrested at the scene of the attack.
He was slightly injured.
Except that according to the elements collected later, in particular during a hearing of the victim, he would have been there to help the injured.
“He was seen running with another person, before returning to the victim, but rather to rescue her

A suspect on the run
In light of this information, the young man's police custody ended on Saturday evening.
Investigators are now looking for a third individual involved in the attack.
He could be the one who stabbed him.
He would be on the run.
At the very least, he did not present himself to the police station.
